The Legal framework applicable to the information society: a synthesis under European, French and Belgian lawThe purpose of this book is twofold:
- Providing an up-to-date and to-the-point synthesis of the legal framework applicable to the so-called information society, such as: audiovisual, electronic communications, electronic commerce, etc.;
- Pointing out the challenges that could arise as a consequence of the technological evolution, notably concerning all individual’s fundamental rights, and the way to regulate the borderless digital world.
This book is focused on European, Belgian and French law, but it also tackles some aspects of the regulations applicable in Luxemburg, Switzerland and Canada.
